This strong wholemeal bread flour from Doves Farm is fully organic and carefully milled. Wholemeal flour contains (obviously) 100% of the wheat grain, meaning that any bread you bake will be naturally higher in fibre, iron and B vitamins. The bran in wholemeal flour can reduce the effectiveness of the gluten (in turn reducing the rise) so some people add some strong white bread flour to their bakes to make them a little lighter.Information
