A type of rice wine used as an ingredient in various Japanese sauces (soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, kabayaki sauce, etc), Mirin is also commonly used as a basic condiment for sushi rice and a simple dip for gyoza. It is similar to sake, but lower in alcohol and higher in sugar.
Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened keep refrigerated and use by best before date indicated.
