Established at Villers-sous-Châtillon, in the heart of the Marne Valley (and the Champagne region) in 1809, and benefiting from a wealth of ancestral expertise, Maison A.D.Coutelas champagnes are steeped in tradition. The Coutelas family have cultivated the art of the vine for eight generations, always passing on their unique expertise, based on a wealth of experience, skills and passion. With roots in the greatest of Champagne terroirs, the Coutelas vineyards take their identity from the cultivation of three grape varieties (Chardonnay [40%], Pinot Noir [30%] and Pinot Meunier [30%]) and their wines benefit from a spectrum of subtle aromas, derived from the unique terroir influences of this region. The environment and the vineyards are precious, and for this reason they are managed by Maison Coutelas in a respectful, traditional and sustainable fashion through the use of organic methods.
